Books carry places within them: a landscape described, a memory recorded, a voice reaching beyond its own time. A mobile library allows these fragments to travel together, finding new readers along the way. Conceived by Studio Etienne Bastormagi for NOMAD Abu Dhabi, the installation gives this movement a physical form. Aluminum structures gather publications, seating and display surfaces, inviting visitors to stop, open a book and spend time with another perspective. Through these small pauses, the library becomes a meeting place where cultural memory passes between people, carried onward through reading and conversation.
